GTA Online fans might have spotted that the LSPD has been setting up checkpoints at Crime Scenes across the greater Los Santos area.
The word on the scanner is that the LSPD is spread thin trying to stem the tide of rising lawlessness, especially amid a rash of violent crimes. Leads and suspects are slim to nonexistent, but the city still allocated resources for cops to park next to chalk outlines on various scenes of the crime around town.
No one’s nailed the evidence down, though, so if you keep a low enough profile, you might be able to walk away with a piece of the new M16 Service Carbine, plus a little GTA$ and RP bonus. Gather enough components and you might be able to assemble a new weapon all for yourself.
Read on for your complete guide on how to find all GTA Online Crime Scenes to help you assemble the new M16 weapon.
GTA Online Crime Scene Locations & Service Carbine Parts Explained
First and foremost, the Crime Scene Locations are a random event in GTA Online. So you won’t always find them in the same locations. There’s also 10 possible crime scene locations in GTA Online where you can collect the M16 Service Carbine parts.
As such, you might be best grabbing a helicopter so you can quickly make your way across Los Santos until you find an active crime scene. You should spot a small blue dot on your map when you are close to a crime scene, so keep your eyes on the map at all times too.
Secondly, it’s worth noting that whilst you can be any type of session for the crime scenes to spawn, you will need to be in an active session for at least 20 minutes before they start spawning.
You’ll find a crime scene in one of the following locations in Lost Santos and Blaine County:
- Elysian Island (Los Santos)
- East Vinewood (Los Santos)
- West Vinewood (Los Santos)
- Strawberry (Los Santos)
- Del Perro Beach (Los Santos)
- Banham Canyon (Los Santos)
- Ron Alternates Wind Farm (Los Santos)
- Alamo Sea (Blaine County)
- Grapeseed (Blaine County)
- Paleto Bay (Blaine County)
When you locate a crime scene an on-screen notification will suggest you ‘search the crime scene for evidence to collect’, but when you do you’ll also incur a 3-star wanted level.

GTA Online LD Organics Rewards
You’ll need to find five Crime Scenes to recover all five of the M16 Service Carbine parts. For each Crime Scene you visit, you’ll recover one of the following Service Carbine parts: Barrel, Magazine, Receiver, Scope, and Sights.
When collecting the parts, players will also earn $5,000 and 2,000 RP for the first four M16 Sevice Carbine parts you collect. Once you collect the fifth M16 Service Carbine part players will earn an additional $55,000, 2,000 RP as well as unlocking the M16 Service Carbine weapon.
You’ll also now have the ability to customize the weapon with new parts, and different colors at any Ammu-Nation store.
Should you choose to visit a crime scene again in the future, you’ll still be able to collect service carbine parts, and will be rewarded with $10,000 and 2,000 RP every time you do.
