While Turtle Beach's origin story dates back to 1975, the past decade has seen Turtle Beach become the world's best-selling gaming headset brand, having sold over 70 million headsets. In 2019, Turtle Beach expanded beyond gaming headsets and into the PC gaming peripherals space and now has a full lineup of top-rated gaming keyboards and mice. In 2021, Turtle Beach further expanded its catalog to include game controllers for Xbox and PC, as well as into the flight simulation gaming accessories space. In 2024, Turtle Beach added racing simulation gaming accessories to its catalog, and acquired Performance Designed Products (PDP) - another leader in gaming accessories - along with its Victrix™ brand, which vastly expanded Turtle Beach's lineup of game controllers with more options for Xbox and PC and adding controllers for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch™ and other game systems.
