While Sonic has been in the spotlight in terms of lackluster games in recent years, Sonic Frontiers is aiming to right all those wrongs, as it'll be the first open-world Sonic title.

Sonic Frontiers: Release Date
As most titles that are going to be releasing this year, we still don't know when it plans on releasing.
But, we do know it's calling for a Holiday 2022 release, and while fans have speculated that the game is going to get delayed after a lackluster premier.
In an interview with VGC, Takashi Iizuka noted the following:
“We do realise everyone is just kind of reacting to the videos that they saw, and because they don’t understand what this new gameplay is they’re kind of comparing it to other games that they already know."
