Amazon's new MMORPG is finally here, and there's a ton for players to dive into, including some powerful weapon classes.
One of the main features within New World is Factions, and once you hit a certain level within one, you're going to need to complete a quest to achieve the next tier.
Here's where to find and unlock the Syndicate Advancement quest, Scrivener.
How to unlock the Scrivener quest
New World features 3 Factions that you'll have the choice in joining when you're embarking on your journey, The Marauders, The Syndicate and The Convent.
Once you pick one, you'll be able to join Company's within the Faction, and you'll also be able to take part in quests that will help the Faction seize certain portions of land throughout New World.
However, once you hit a certain point in these Faction missions, you'll be able to embark on a quest that will raise your rank within the Faction, so that you'll be able to unlock more quests, gear and other rewards.
If your a part of The Syndicate, this mission is called the Scivener quest, and it'll be obtained through the local Faction representative in the town you're currently in.
Once you've gotten this quest, head to Brightwood and head over a person called Laurentius Krocke, who will give you some further details about the quest.
Basically, all the quest entails is battling and defeating an NPC called Gheist Malikor, and the recommended level for this quest is 24.
You'll be able to unlock this quest when you've reached enough Faction points to proceed to level two of the Syndicate as well.
