What is the Legendary and Master Lost Sector in Destiny 2 today? That’s the question players have been asking ever since Bungie introduced the higher difficulty Lost Sectors into the core game with the launch of the Beyond Light Expansion.
Now the activity has become a daily routine for players looking to farm exotics (when completed solo) and ultimately increase their guardian’s power level as fast as possible.
Somewhat annoyingly though, Bungie doesn’t show the location of the daily Lost Sector on the director, much to fans’ annoyance. That’s likely why you’ve ended up here, looking to find out what the Legendary and Master Lost Sectors is today.

How To Unlock Legendary & Master Lost Sectors
Before you can take on Legendary Lost Sectors and Master Lost Sectors, you must first do a few beforehand to unlock them.
First you must complete the normal Lost Sector to unlock the Legendary and Master Lost Sector. This means you will need to enter the Lost Sector, defeat the boss and loot the cache at the end. Secondly, you will need to reach power level 1500, and if you are not 1500 you will not be given the option to select legendary and master Lost Sectors, even if you have completed a normal lost sector.
Once you meet both requirements, you can start a Legendary or Master Lost Sector.
What Is The Legendary & Master Lost Sector Today?
Following the release of ‘Destiny 2: The Witch Queen’ there are no longer 2 different Lost Sectors on rotation each day. Instead the daily Legendary Lost Sector and daily Master Lost Sector are both the same, which makes planning out a calendar for the Lost Sector rotation much easier for players.
The location for the Lost Sector in Destiny 2 changes every day following the daily reset at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm BST / 7PM CEST.
